Merry Christmas ☆

It’s actually already December 26 here, but I can’t leave without wishing everyone ~

I’m grateful for many things this year. Ever since I started this blog, the people who support me make me really happy when I know they read my posts regularly ♡ So to all my friends out there, thank you very much and I hope you have/had a great day ヽ(´▽`)/

Small head ( ̄△ ̄;)

This is the last blog entry of the year! Thanks again for following my posts for the past four months or so, even when sometimes I’m either being boring or late 。・゚゚・(>_<;)・゚゚・。 I’m full of gratitude ☆

Come 2012, I want to continue blogging and make more friends (*・▽・*) 2011 has been a truly fun year for me (yes even with O levels), and I think I’ve managed to achieve some milestones. More so than in 2010, I’d say ( ・ ω ・ ) So please continue to support me next year ♪ I want to become more interesting and more committed to this blog o(^∀^*)o I also need to wash Toto sometime soon.

Anyway, right now I am packing (‐^▽^‐)

Another small head...

Yes ♪ I’M LEAVING FOR JAPAN IN A FEW HOURS ヾ(*>▽<)ノ I’m getting so excited I can’t sleep! Which is a bad thing because I need to be awake at 4am and now it’s almost 1. Oh dear (・3・)

But I’m really too excited, I can’t sleep properly ( ̄▽ ̄) When I think of getting on a huge plane, my heart beats faster! When I think of going to the land of my dreams and seeing H!P-related places, I want to explode! (How attractive)

My wallet’s not very happy about the whole affair though.

During my trip I don’t think I’ll be able to blog p(´⌒`q) But I promise I’ll come back with lots of pictures and stories! I’ll make nice and lengthy posts on my week in Japan, so please look forward to it and don’t miss me too much hehehehe(●^皿^●)

See you next year! ♥

Mmm Cookie Dough

Cookies ☆ Love the stuff. And I baked a whole bunch of them last night (*^ヮ^*)

I haven’t baked since the beginning of the year, and I recently I had an urge to do it again (´・_・`) So I finally got to do it!

Butter is gooooodヽ(*゚∀゚)ノ A whole stick went into the batter.

The initial unpromising flour-y heap. It took a long time to mash it into a gooey dough because I forgot to let the butter melt first.

But it eventually turned into this! Very desirable, very tasty-looking, very nice-smelling dough ☆ So I went about kneading and cutting it into different shapes (●・▽・●)

Heart shapes, round shapes, unshapely shapes.

However I forgot to put them further apart from each other…

And they became like this Σ( ̄ロ ̄lll)

Well that’s okay, I just needed to pry them apart ( ; ∀ ; ) The heart cookies bloated into fat guitar picks, but all the cookies still tasted yummy (apart from a few slightly burnt ones).

I made a cookie poo as well.

Oh, yum.

Baking is really fun! Hopefully I can do it again soon (*^^*)♪ There is just so much joy in making different shapes instead of boring conventional shapes ~

I mean, I’d rather eat a cookie poo than a normal old round one.

♪(´ε` )

P.S. I went for a casual photoshoot today! Tomorrow I’ll blog about it ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

It’s the Weekend!

The weekend is here ♪v(⌒o⌒)v♪

With that, I have successfully completed 55 hours in a week at my part time job. Even though it was generally exhausting and I’m glad I can relax now, I don’t regret anything about the past week. I had a lot of fun, and I loved working(●^U^●)

I know I was complaining about it the last time. But that was just the first day, I didn’t really know it’d be better than I expected( ´^ー^`) Mostly, it was because I managed to make friends with the people working at the booths next to mine. They were mostly girls around my age, so I was able to talk to them and have a good time(*^ワ^*)That’s a huge relief, because I was so sure I’d be lonely for five days.

As I said before, I guess the stuff in my shop was interesting to look at too. I’ve gotten quite fond of some of the stuffed toys there actually (・3・)

Like the Elmo-Hello Kitty and Hello Kitty-Elmo.

Kapibara santasan!

My beloved Rilakkuma ☆

My beloved Rilakkuma ☆

…which later became the Last Bear-bender.

Giant Elmo kept me company too ☆

But I still prefer Rilakkuma as my dinner date ♡

Okay, enough spam ( ̄▽ ̄;) Basically, these were my fluffy companions as well.

Aside from my human friends and doll friends, I had a lot of interaction with different customers as well ☆ Because this time I’m at the ground floor instead of the main store upstairs, there are a lot more people who will always walk past. That’s why the shop was always so busy (´-ω-`;)ゞ

There were many different people that I came acrossーfriendly customers, funny customers, indifferent customers, even the occasional rude one. The one thing that I loved to do most was to welcome them into the store. I must have said “Hi, welcome ~” hundreds of times, but it made me feel really good when I welcomed someone in with a smile(*^ワ^*)To me, friendliness is one of the most important things. Even if a customer only comes in for a few seconds, it feels like it makes a difference when I show some genuine warmth. And the best thing is when the customer smiles and greets me in return, it makes me really happy(´ω`*)

Maybe I’m simple like that, but I greatly appreciate every one of these kind gestures, even if it’s just a smile ★

This week’s given me a lot of experience and insights, I’m happy that I was able to do a full week of work! 11 hours straight being the boss of my own little booth, I really enjoyed it ♫

And I found my new favourite food.

Beautiful golden Baklavas, begging to be eaten

I fell in love with Baklavas! They’re small pastries, really sweet and yummy (and expensive)! My friend’s booth next to mine sells lots of them, and they always have samples out on the table so I tried it. I’d never known there were such delicacies before, so I was mindblown. SUCH GOODNESS IN SMALL SAMPLES. I bought a little box yesterday for my family to try ( ・ ω ・ )

I don’t work until my boss calls me up, and even so the booths will be closing in two weeks time when the Christmas season is over. Plus I’ll be flying overseas to Japan right after Christmas (・3・) Whatever it is, I’m looking forward to the next time I work.

Anyway, for today’s random update!

I bought Popteen.

Popteen (Taiwan version)

P.S. Today’s shoutout goes to the awesome ALFRED WU. ♡ Because he asked for it

Earrings and Work Woes

For the past 16 years of my life I never really bothered to consider getting my ears pierced. But recently my good friend asked me to do it with her, so I did ( ・ ω ・ )

We went together in the afternoon to stab holes in our ears~

It wasn’t actually painful. The lady just stapled our ears, and ta-da ♪( ´▽`) Pierced ears in seconds.

The earrings have to stay on my ears for another 5 weeks, I can’t wait to change them and wear those fancy ones ( *`ω´)

Anyway, this week I’m working from Monday to Friday at our shop’s booth \(^o^)/11 hours a day…and I’m manning the booth (more like a tiny winter house) all by myself. Which is cool, but I don’t have anyone else to talk to(・□・;)

Except these two.

They’re huge. But I was still pretty lonely ( ; ω ; )

And when there were no customers there isn’t really much for me to do. So I get bored too ( ̄◇ ̄;)

But today I brought a book and an iPad, so I have ample entertainment to last the day ☆ And I’m blogging right now at work and not caring about the battery dying because I remembered my charger ( ̄▽ ̄)

Just now I watched Cutie Circuit too.

Five and a half more hours of work! (;´Д`A

Announcements ~

These days I’ve been so busy, it’s starting to take a toll on me (´・_・`) Just yesterday I wasn’t feeling well and did nothing but roll around on my bed and whine.

But I was feeling okay again today, so I went for a dance session at a studio. It was with some AKB fans who formed a dance group. We’re all amateurs and doing dance covers for fun, so I felt fairly comfortable (●・▽・●)

I met new people too! I didn’t know anyone, so I was really shy.

After practice I went with a few of the girls to take purikura ☆ The machine we used was really old though.

After that I just went home for lunch. For dinner my parents brought me to the AKB cafe, surprise surprise(・□・)

I had omurice(^O^☆♪

Oh wao (*^□^)ノ☆

So um, yeah. I have an announcement.

My Japan trip has been confirmed! d(≧▽≦*d) It’ll be from the December 26 to December 31. My dad actually booked flights a while ago, but he only told me todayヾ(‘・□・’)ノ I was really happy ♪ Planning started immediately. There’re just so many places I want to go.

Ahhhhhhh (●′皿`●)

Jam-packed Day

My friends and I went out today for hours, I came home exhausted ε-(´・`) Still, I had fun ☆

We went to Ikea for lunch first, it was my idea because I wanted to eat the cakesヽ(´▽`)/ For years I’ve only been able to look at it in the magazines. Or worse, the glass display at the actual store (´ω`。) Today was a good chance to do it.

Marzipan cake ♡ So creamy and pink and perfect. I ate it all, it was satisfying ♪d(´▽`) It’s a sponge cake with jam and cream, and they coat it with marzipan. Really sweet, but yummy. Dream accomplished.

Of course I ate other stuff too, but this is the main star ★←

After stuffing ourselves with lunch we went to cycle! I think we clocked in around 4 hours ( ・ ω ・ ) It’s my second time cycling, so I really enjoyed it.

We stopped by the sea too, I took off my shoes and waded in for a while. My feet felt gross when I put my shoes back on, but that’s okay. It was worth the cool feeling, I think. (‐^▽^‐)

Bye Bye Dorayaki

It seems like I only bought the great big packet of dorayaki recently but…

The Final Piece

Down to the last little dorayaki ( ̄△ ̄;) The pack really ran out fast! But, in my defense, I gave a lot to my friends ( ・ ω ・ ) So I should just enjoy the last piece for myself ☆

Omnomnom, custard cream ~( ´∀`)Savour every last bite ♪

I realise I blog about food a lot.

Anyway, today my friend gave me one of her old jackets ♡ I love it, it’s the kind of jacket I like and it’s a colur I don’t haveヾ(*・∀・)/

I’ll wear it often ヽ(´▽`)/
